Vox populi poll: Freedom Movement leads ahead of SDS

Ljubljana – The latest Vox Populi poll by Ninamedia sees the Freedom Movement party headed by Robert Golob in leads as it is preferred by 23.9% of the respondents, followed by the ruling Democrats (SDS) with 21.2%.

The two leading parties are followed by the opposition Social Democrats (SD) with 8% and and the opposition Left (7.5%), shows the poll conducted for the newspapers Dnevnik and Večer and published on Saturday.

The opposition Marjan Šarec List (LMŠ) is supported by 6.7% of the people polled, followed by the coalition New Slovenia (NSi) with 4.9% and the opposition Alenka Bratušek Party and the Connecting Slovenia coalition with 3.4% each.

Our Land of former Agriculture Minister Aleksandra Pivec got 2.1% of the support, Liberal Democrats (LIDE) of parliamentary Speaker Igor Zorčič 1.4% and Resni.ca (Truth) 1%. Almost 12% of the respondents were undecided.

Projected into seats in the National Assembly, Freedom Movement would get 27, SDS 24, SD nine, Left eight, LMŠ seven, NSi five and SAB and Connecting Slovenia four MPs each.

The 2022 Election poll was conducted from Monday to Thursday on a sample of 1,050 adults.
