Almost 1,600 new Covid cases during extended weekend, nine deaths

Ljubljana – A total of 1,582 new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Slovenia during the extended weekend and nine fatalities among Covid-19 patients. Friday included, 11 patients died and 3,156 new infections were confirmed, data released by the Health Ministry shows. Compared to the week before the infection figures are somewhat lower, with cases going down by 2.8% on Friday, falling by roughly 9% on Saturday, but increasing by 2.4% on Sunday.
