Türkiye expects US's cooperation in fight against terror: Erdoğan
Türkiye expects the U.S. to act in cooperation with it in the fight against terrorist groups such as the PKK/YPG and the FETÖ, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on Sept. 18.
Speaking at the dinner held by the Turkish American National Steering Committee in New York, President Erdoğan said: "There is no problem between Türkiye and the U.S. that they, as two strategic partners and 70-year-long allies, cannot resolve. Although we have some differences of opinion over the issues concerning our national security, we share similar attitudes in many regional and global matters."
About Russia's war in Ukraine, Erdoğan said Türkiye will continue efforts to end the war through diplomacy and eliminate its regional and global impacts.
