Dacic confirms Zagreb visit, no plans for bilateral meetings for now

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic confirmed he and Human Rights Minister Tomislav Zigmanov would attend a Christmas reception to be hosted by the Serb National Council in Zagreb on Friday.

Croatian government representatives are also expected to attend.

Addressing a press conference at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dacic said there were no plans for bilateral meetings for the time being.

"In line with the intent expressed by the Government of Serbia at the proposal of President Aleksandar Vucic, Tomislav Zigmanov and I will attend the Christmas reception in Zagreb. Serbian Patriarch Porfirije will be there, and Croatian government representatives are expected to be there as well," Dacic said.

The fact Belgrade and Zagreb do not think alike does not mean they should not attempt to look for common interests and the best framework for bilateral relations...
