Djuric: MoU with US important for advancement of cooperation
WASHINGTON - Serbian Ambassador to the US Marko Djuric said on Friday the signing of a MoU between the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the US State Department opened another major channel of possibilities for long-term advancement of capabilities for cooperation between the two countries.
"Judging by the first signs, there will be great achievements in Serbia-US relations this year," Djuric said in a Twitter post.
"We began the new year with the signing of a MoU between our MFA and the State Department, thereby opening another major channel of possibilities for long-term advancement of capabilities for cooperation," Djuric said, congratulating Serbian FM Ivica Dacic and US Ambassador to Serbia Christopher Hill on signing the document.
The MoU was signed in Belgrade on Thursday.
