Air Serbia carries 136 pct more passengers in Jan 2023 compared to Jan 2022

BELGRADE - Air Serbia carried 219,216 passengers in January 2023, which is a 136 pct increase y-o-y and a 20.4 pct increase relative to January 2020, the Serbian national airline said on Friday.

In a statement, the airline said the figures were its best January result since the start of its operations under the name of Air Serbia as well as a seventh consecutive record month for the company.

"Recently we posted the operating results of our company for 2022, which showed significant growth. The beginning of the new calendar year brought new records. During January 2023, we carried 126,513 passengers more than in the same month of 2022 and operated 2,756 flights, which is a 68 pct increase compared to January 2022.
