Vucic attends meeting of SNS top officials

BELGRADE - Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) top officials held a meeting on Monday that was also attended by President Aleksandar Vucic, a source in the SNS told Tanjug.

According to reports by some media, the meeting addressed a recent special parliament session on Kosovo-Metohija.

The Vecernje novosti daily reports Vucic said the SNS had been alone in defending state interests in the parliament but that the people had been with it.

Quoting sources in the SNS, Novosti added that Vucic had said he was very disappointed with the behaviour of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) and that it was better to become an opposition party than to let party and private interests govern the country.
