Stano: Lajcak to be on visit to Belgrade on March 13-14

BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak will be on an official visit to Belgrade on March 13-14, EU spokesperson Peter Stano announced on Tuesday.

Lajcak will travel to Belgrade after a March 9-10 visit to Pristina.

Stano said the dialogue process was halfway through and that, at its end, Belgrade and Serbia should sign a comprehensive, legally binding agreement on normalisation of relations.

He said Lajcak would hold separate meetings with Pristina's PM Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic to ensure a continuation of the process and discuss ways of implementing an agreement on the path to normalisation of relations.

He said the meetings would be a preparation for the next high-level meeting later this month.
