Vucic: People's Movement policy to be formulated by May, SNS to stay

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Thursday evening he wanted to formulate the policy of a People's Movement for the State by a Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) assembly meeting in May.

"No one wants to abolish the SNS... I think it is by far the best political party in Serbia and that there is no comparison between it and all others put together. Are there any bad apples in it? Of course there are. Are there irresponsible officials committing office abuses? Of course there are. As opposed to all other parties, that is the strength of the SNS - the ability to see and accept that," Vucic said on a Happy TV talk show.

He said the People's Movement for State would not be an anti-party movement, but a supra-party one.
