Vucic: Good times ahead for Serbia-Italy cooperation

BELGRADE- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday good times were ahead for cooperation between Serbia and Italy.

After the signing of several agreements with Italy, Vucic said he was happy to have attended the largest business and scientific forum in a decade, which he noted was unique in that it had been held with only one country.

"I am happy that Italy and (Italian FM Antonio) Tajani have not forgotten Serbia and the Western Balkans. I thank the entrepreneurs from 151 Italian and 256 Serbian companies," he said.

Vucic said he believed the present annual volume of bilateral trade (4.6 bln euros) would rise significantly as early as next year and encourage Serbian companies as well as investments in Serbia by Italian companies.
