Kılıçdaroğlu vows to declare his assets as his candidacy becomes certain

Nation Alliance's presidential candidate and Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu said he would declare his personal assets to the public when his nomination for upcoming presidential elections becomes certain.

Reminding that he made his personal assets public when he stepped up for politics, Kılıçdaroğlu said, "When my candidacy is finalized, I will show my assets to the whole of Türkiye, and everyone will see."

"It was said 2,400 years ago that if the rulers of the state get rich while ruling, they no longer think about the people but their assets," he stated.

Kılıçdaroğlu visited central Konya province as part of his election campaign.

"You will change the order, not me. You will bring [us] to power, not me. In this country, 5.5 million young people will vote for the first time, and they will leave a beautiful gift to the history of world politics. You will say, 'We changed an authoritarian government through democratic means,'" the CHP leader said.

Kılıçdaroğlu pledged to make "clean politics" in Türkiye.

"We will rebuild the bridge of trust between citizens and politicians. We will bring a new understanding that speaks the truth to the people and is on the side of the people," he said.

The CHP leader said he visited Konya with his two friends; Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Ekrem İmamoğlu and the Mayor of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mansur Yavaş.

"What we said, we will win together. Together we will solve Türkiye's problems. I want to talk about 5.5 million young people. You will convince each of your friends, they will go to the ballot box and vote for the Nation Alliance. My word is my word," he said.
