Drecun: Destabilisation aimed at getting Belgrade to give up on Community

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Wednesday a destabilisation of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was aimed at pressuring Serbia into recognising the false state of "Kosovo" and into giving up on a Community of Serb Municipalities as defined by the Brussels Agreement.

In a statement to Tanjug, Drecun said the destabilisation was well-planned and that at least some Quint states were supporting Pristina in it.

"Already after the Ohrid meeting, when they were unable to make Aleksandar Vucic accept an agreement proposed by the EU and two crucial points that would be a de facto recognition of the false state of 'Kosovo' and its membership in international organisations, it was clear that everything would start developing in an extremely negative direction," Drecun said.
