Petkovic: Responsibility to stop Kurti now upon int'l community

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic said on Friday the responsibility to stop Pristina's PM Albin Kurti from causing war and conflicts and making provocations was now upon the international community.

"What (Serbian President Aleksandar) Vucic has said about Kurti not wanting to form a Community of Serb Municipalities but to provoke a crisis and war has been confirmed. It is strange that he is doing that on his own and getting into such adventures just like that. The responsibility to stop Kurti is upon the international community," Petkovic said at a press conference.

Asked about a June 1 deadline set by Kosovo-Metohija Serbs for "reining in" Kurti, Petkovic said the deadline gave some time to both the international community and Kurti to stop the harassment of Serbs and that their response would come after that...
