Pristina's police storm building of Leposavic municipality

LEPOSAVIC - Pristina's police stormed the building of the Leposavic municipality in the north of Kosovo-Metohija on Friday after taking control of municipal buildings in nearby Zvecan and Zubin Potok earlier in the day, a Tanjug reporter on the ground said.

A large group of Pristina's police troops that included special forces fired tear gas and stun grenades at residents who had put up barricades outside the building to prevent them from entering.

There are no reports of injuries for the time being.

Earlier, close to ten people were injured in clashes between Pristina's police and residents in Zvecan and Zubin Potok.
