Kecmanovic ousted from Roland Garros after five-set thriller

PARIS - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic is out of the Roland Garros after losing 5-7, 2-6, 7-6 (10-8), 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (11-9) to Italian Andrea Vavasori in the first round on Tuesday.

Vavasori won after five hours and ten minutes of play.

Kecmanovic wasted five match points in the thrilling encounter.

The last remaining Serbian in the men's singles tournament, world number three Novak Djokovic, will face Hungarian Marton Fucsovics in the second round on Wednesday evening.
