Vucic: I have cancelled Bratislava trip to be with my people

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday he had cancelled a two-day visit to Bratislava to be with his people and announced he would visit army troops deployed in important positions.

"I have cancelled my trip to Bratislava and a two-day stay in the Slovakian capital because being with my people is more important to me, and today I will be visiting our soldiers, our heroes, the several thousands of them who are deployed in the most important positions," Vucic said in a video posted on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

He said he was confident "the truth, justice and Serbia will triumph in the end."

He noted that Monday had been an extremely difficult day for all Serbs and said he was confident "we will succeed in the fight for the freedom and survival of our people and for safety for our people also in the north of Kosovo-Metohija."...
