Vucic meets with Lajcak, Escobar in Belgrade

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak and US special Western Balkans envoy Gabriel Escobar on Tuesday evening to discuss the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.

The meeting at Belgrade's Vila Mir is also attended by the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Emanuele Giaufret and US Ambassador to Belgrade Christopher Hill.

Lajcak and Escobar visited Pristina on Monday for a meeting with Pristina's PM Albin Kurti.

He said no agreement on elections in the north of Kosovo-Metohija had been reached with Kurti.

Escobar said Kurti had two days to respond to the EU-US demands.
