Vucic: Historic meeting with Murmu to affirm Serbia-India friendship

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he looked forward to a historic meeting with Indian President Droupadi Murmu, whom he welcomed at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport earlier in the day.

In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote the meeting with Murmu would "affirm the Serbia-India friendship further."

Murmu will be on an official visit to Serbia until June 9.

Serbia is the second country Murmu has visited since taking office in July 2022.
