Serbia lose to Croatia in water polo world championship quarters

DOHA - The Serbia men's national water polo team lost 15-13 (4-4, 5-5, 2-1, 4-3) to Croatia at the World Aquatics Championships in Doha on Tuesday evening.

Serbia now go to the playoffs for the 5th to the 8th positions and will first face the loser of the match between Hungary and France.

If they win, they will play the winner of the Montenegro vs Greece tie in the fifth place match.

In the semi-finals, Croatia will face the winner of the Hungary-France tie.

The other semi-final fixture is Italy vs Spain.
