Sapic calls elections in 17 Belgrade municipalities for June 2

BELGRADE - The head of the City of Belgrade Interim Authority Aleksandar Sapic called elections for the assemblies of the 17 Belgrade urban municipalities for June 2 on Friday.

"The time frames for conducting electoral activities commence starting from today," said Sapic, who called the elections pursuant to a decision by the Authority.

Previously, Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic called elections for the Belgrade City Assembly for June 2 and, on Friday, she also called local polls in 66 self-government units in Serbia for the same date.
