Rhodes: a British couple who have visited the island more than 100 times was honoured

A platinum plaque, the highest honor, was awarded by the Municipality of Rhodes to a pair of British tourists who have visited the island more than 100 times.

The Alexander and Gail Conn couple have been visiting Rhodes since the 1990s, 4-5 times a year, literally love the island, and have made lifelong friends, including businessman Michalis Diaculas who accompanied them to the award ceremony.

The couple always stay at the Lindos Blue Sky Hotel and have now decided to buy a house in Rhodes since they come so often.

“Rhodes is the choice of our heart and soul and this is the Rhodes we want to show to our compatriots. This is the Rhodes we have learned to love and admire, this unique Rhodian hospitality,” Alexander and Gail Conn stressed to the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Tourism George Toppos, whom they thanked for the exceptional honor bestowed upon them.
