Athens and Nicosia have expressed satisfaction over Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides' recent visit to Washington and his meeting with US President Joe Biden.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who welcomed Christodoulides to Athens on Thursday, emphasized that the visit underscores a significant elevation in the Eastern Mediterranean strategic partnership with the US, highlighting Washington's recognition of the key roles Greece and Cyprus play in regional stability.
