SYRIZA ‘under occupation,’ former leader protests  

Stefanos Kasselakis, ousted recently as the leftist SYRIZA party's leader, has slammed party rivals for withholding information on a three-day congress starting Friday, claiming they intend to stage it in secret. 

Posting on social media, the former SYRIZA leader said the party is "under occupation."

Kasselakis alleges that the party has decided to bar over 180 delegates who support the ousted leader from participating in the upcoming congress.

"They have only notified their own delegates, holding teleconferences to inform them and urgently request their email addresses for digital voting, while the majority of delegates remain in the dark, paying the price for supporting my candidacy," Kasselakis posted.
