Vucic, Macron discuss shared European challenges, bilateral ties

BUDAPEST - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday in Budapest about shared European challenges and further strengthening of Serbia-France bilateral relations.

Vucic and Macron met on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit.

"Europe needs peace and courageous strategic decisions to set off on a path of accelerated growth and permanent prosperity, and it is only by working together, seriously and constructively that we can reach that goal," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

He thanked Macron for his personal engagement when it comes to support for Serbia's EU path.
