Mitsotakis at EPP Youth Conference: jobs and security as top priorities

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressed the European People's Party Youth Conference on Friday, emphasizing the government's commitment to creating jobs for young people.

Highlighting the significance of engaging with the next generation to shape effective policies, Mitsotakis highlighted that since New Democracy took office, more than 500,000 jobs have been created, and unemployment has dropped from 17.5% to under 10%. He also emphasized efforts to reverse Greece's brain drain, with 300,000 young Greeks returning home during his tenure. 

"We achieved this while maintaining fiscal discipline and resisting the temptation to overspend," he noted.
