Security and rights

In every European country, compliance with the traffic code is now carried out with cameras. Surveillance devices have also been shown to contribute to the reduction of crime. 

In Greece, the fear of abuse and violation of personal data - not unlikely - had prevailed. However, in a well-organized state, with independent authorities charged with overseeing the administration, such fears should not prevail, when weighed against the benefits of security.
