Action against fuel smuggling stepped up  

The digital application for the registering of tanks at public fuel service stations and heating oil sales establishments will be operational from Sunday. 

This new system will enable more effective inspections and enhance the fight against fuel smuggling, available through the myAADE digital portal (myaade.gov.gr). 

By February 1, 2025, the following professionals are required to complete and update their information in the register: holders of public service station licenses, heating oil vendors and installers of the input-output monitoring system.

Additionally, from Sunday, the upgraded digital database for collecting input-output data from fuel stations will be launched, hosted on modern cloud infrastructure (G-Cloud).
