Death toll from Storm Bora rises to 3

A man has been found dead on the Halkidiki peninsula in northern Greece following the passage of Storm Bora.

Local reports indicate that the man's vehicle overturned and fell into a ditch as he tried to avoid falling rocks caused by landslides triggered by the heavy rain.

According to state broadcaster ERT, the man, whose body was discovered on Monday morning, likely succumbed to hypothermia after being trapped and unaided in his vehicle for at least eight hours. 

His identity has not yet been disclosed.

This death brings the storm's total death toll to three. Two people lost their lives over the weekend as the storm swept through the island of Lemnos (also spelled Limnos) in the northern Aegean.
