Vucic: Switzerland to attend Belgrade EXPO, I expect Amherd to visit Serbia in 2025

BERNE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Thursday he had had very good meetings in Switzerland and noted that the country would attend EXPO 2027 in Belgrade and that he expected its president, Viola Amherd, to visit Belgrade in 2025.

Vucic expressed gratitude to Amherd and Justice and Police Minister Beat Jans, with whom he had discussed "very important topics."

"Along with various structural, economic and political matters, I think the most important news is that Switzerland will take part in EXPO 2027, and I am happy to announce that to our citizens. Meanwhile, we will be working on all important issues, from migration to bringing more Swiss investors to Serbia, as well as Serbian investors to Switzerland, who already have a presence. We also spoke about our people living in Switzerland - 73,000 of them have Swiss citizenship," Vucic told reporters.
