Teen hospitalized in Rhodes after TikTok challenge

A 13-year-old boy was hospitalized with a serious head injury Friday after attempting a TikTok challenge during a school break at middle school on the island of Rhodes.

According to state broadcaster ERT, the boy fell and struck his head while performing the challenge with friends. He was rushed to Rhodes General Hospital by ambulance, where doctors are evaluating his condition.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the incident, and a transfer to a hospital in Athens is being considered for further treatment.
