Corfu teen arrested on drug trafficking charges

A 16-year-old was arrested Saturday on the island of Corfu on felony drug trafficking charges after police discovered 6.8 grams of processed cannabis in four packets during a targeted search near the city.

A subsequent raid at the teen's home in southern Corfu uncovered nine additional packets containing 36.7 grams of cannabis and a precision electronic scale, authorities said.

The teen's father was also charged with neglecting parental supervision.

The 16-year-old remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before a prosecutor.
