Debate on 2025 state budget to begin on Wednesday
Greek Parliament will start a five-day debate on the 2025 state budget on Wednesday with the statements of the general rapporteurs of the nine parliamentary groups.
The debate will begin at 11 a.m.
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the leader of the main opposition, Nikos Androulakis, and the chairmen of the parliamentary groups of the other parties are expected to address the parliament on Sunday.
The budget debate will be concluded by Sunday midnight. Immediately afterwards, a roll-call vote will follow, which - traditionally - serves as a vote of confidence in the government.
