Dodik: RS turned to peace, but it wants respect

BELGRADE - President of Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik stated late on Saturday that RS is turned to peace and freedom for all citizens regardless of their individual differences, but it also wants to be respected and not be bypassed in global processes including EU integration.

According to police authorities, the 39 year old arrested with code name "Iasonas" was a close associate of N17 terrorist Christodoulos Xiros and member of terrorist organization "Pirines".

He was arrested on Saturday morning, after his fingerprints and DNA was identified on bombs and organization hideouts.

Alleged accomplices of N17's Xeros caught in Athens

One man was arrested and another detained in Athens on Saturday in connection to the November 17 terrorist Christodoulos Xeros, who was recaptured in January after a year on the run.

Authorities on Saturday arrested yet another alleged accomplice of convicted "Nov17? terrorist Christodoulos Xiros in the greater Athens district of Galatsi.

A DNA sample of the suspect has reportedly been traced to genetic material found on a booby-trapped parcel mailed to a police precinct in the town of Itea, a tax bureau in western Athens and to a prosecutor.

Zimonjic, Qureshi beaten in Dubai ATP final

DUBAI - Serbian tennis player Nenad Zimonjic and Pakistani player Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi did not manage to win the title in the Dubai ATP in the men doubles category as they lost the final match on Saturday to India's Rohan Bopanna and Canada's Daniel Nestor, 6-4, 6-1.
