Turkey's TAV begins to run food, beverage services in Zagreb airport

Turkey's TAV Airports has said that one of its subsidiaries, BTA, began operating food and beverage services and inflight catering services at the Zagreb International Airport in Croatia as of Aug. 1.

The company noted that BTA would undertake these operations for 13 years, in a written statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on Aug. 1. 

Fraport sells stake in St Petersburg airport to Qatar

Germany's Fraport is selling a stake in the operator of the St Petersburg airport, which is ailing from low traveler numbers due to the weakness of the Russian ruble, to the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).

Raskovic Ivic to resign as DSS leader

Djokovic beats Stepanek to set up clash with Berdych

TORONTO - Serbia's Novak Djokovic, the current world number one in men's tennis, is through to the quarter-finals of the Toronto ATP Masters after beating Radek Stepanek of the Czech Republic 6-2, 6-4 Friday.

Djokovic will next face Stepanek's compatriot Tomas Berdych, who beat Ryan Harrison of the United States 6-4, 6-7 (2-7), 6-4.

Serbia hands BiH ambassador protest note over flag burning

BELGRADE - The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday handed a diplomatic note to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Ambassador to Belgrade Lazar Mirkic in a vehement protest over footage showing two unidentified armed individuals burning two Serbian national flags.

A statement released by the ministry said the footage could be seen on the YouTube internet portal.

Applications for strategic partnership at Galenika opened

BELGRADE - Applications from all three bidders interested in a strategic partnership at Serbia's pharmaceuticals company Galenika have arrived in a timely manner and pursuant to requirements, a commission in charge of the procedure for establishing the partnership announced after the applications were opened Friday.

Stefanovic: Serbia, Republika Srpska together against terrorism
