Couple marries in Istanbul subway station in first

The very first marriage in a subway station in Turkey was solemnized on Oct. 30, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported. 

Alper Odabaşı and Yeşim Demiray married at the observation terrace of the Haliç Station on the Golden Horn, after permission was granted by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality.

Tanjug cited TASS on Monday to report Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as saying this, in reference to NATO's 1999 bombing of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SRJ), made up of Serbia and Montenegro.

Anarchists clash with riot police in Athens (video-photos)

Anarchists and members of anti-establishment groups clashed with riot police units on Alexandras Avenue, in downtown Athens, Monday morning, causing damages to parked cars in the surrounding area. The clashes reportedly started when the anarchists spotted a group of Golden Dawn members, an extreme right neo-Nazi party represented in the Greek parliament, passing by the area.

Turkey's tourism revenue declines around 33 percent in third quarter as foreign arrivals plunge

Turkey's tourism revenue decreased by 32.7 percent to $8.3 billion in the third quarter of 2016 compared to the same period of last year, amid a dramatic plunge in the number of foreign tourists visiting the country, data from the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜİK) showed on Oct. 31.

Tourists spent an average per visit of $686 in the mentioned period, according to data.
