Pac-Man’s “father” dies at 91

 

The founder of Bandai Namco Holdings toy and software for electronic games company, Masaya Nakamura died on January 22nd as it was officially announced. However, the actual cause of death is still not known.

Pac-Man was released in 1980 and was a huge success around the world, to that extent that it earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records.

The Hispania Graeca merchant vessel rescued four shipwrecked fishermen off the south coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines last week, after a four-day ordeal at sea, said Angelakos (Hellas) SA, the operator of the vessel, on Tuesday.

Athens police arrest two over contraband smokes

Two Bangladeshi nationals, both aged 28, have been arrested for the possession of contraband cigarettes, police in Athens said on Tuesday.

In a search of their homes in Patissia and Kolonos, police found and confiscated 7,977 packets of cigarettes and 906 of tobacco.

Both men appeared appeared before an Athens prosecutor later on Tuesday.
