Main opposition CHP to hold 'justice congress' to discuss judicial shortcomings
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) is set to hold a four-day "justice congress" in a bid to stress judicial deficiencies in Turkey.
"In the congress, all segments of society in Turkey will discuss injustices, the current issues and seek solutions," CHP deputy leader Bülent Tezcan announced at a press conference on July 31.
Hot weather to grip Serbia in week ahead

Serbia prepares law to allow foreigners to buy arable land

Agriculture Minister Branislav Nedimovic says foreigners will be able to buy arable land in Serbia only if they are residents, and then only up to two hectares.
In order to exercise this right, Nedimovic told the daily Blic, they will have to go through "rigorous controls of the state mechanism."
