FYROM PM claims referendum would be guarantee for Greece

Spanish hackers con Greek firm out of 10,000 euros

Spanish hackers are accused of swindling a company in northern Greece out of 10,000 euros using the so-called "Business Email Scam."

According to a police statement, the three suspects intercepted emails between the company and another firm.

Posing as representatives of the second firm, the hackers convinced the company to deposit money in their bank account.

Child porn peddler traced to Attica home

A 26-year-old man from Attica has been remanded in custody for allegedly peddling child pornography over the internet and for the attempted grooming of minors.

He was arrested last week after the mother of one of the victims filed a complaint with police claiming that an unknown individual had convinced her underaged son to send photos of himself.

Parliament worker detained by police

An employee of the Greek Parliament was detained by police on Wednesday following an altercation with a traffic officer outside the central Athens building.

According to witnesses, the woman tried to drive through a cordon that traffic police had set up outside the Parliament's garage to stop motorists for inspection.

Croatia’s Constitutional Court rejected an appeal from Tomislav Mercep, a former interior ministry official and alleged head of a police unit that killed Serb civilians, against his war crimes convictions.

Serbia President Accepts Invitation To Croatia

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic confirmed on Wednesday that he had accepted Tuesday's invitation from Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic to visit Zagreb.

"I consider it is important for our country to receive this invitation; we accept that invitation, it [meeting] will be held on February 12th and 13th; I will talk to all Croatian officials," Vucic said.
