Rain Showers in many Places Today, Frost is Possible in Northwest Bulgaria

Considerable clouds again today with rain showers in many places across the country, snowfall in the mountain areas above 1,000 m. Due to low temperatures, in Northwest Bulgaria there will be conditions for frost, meteorologist Krasimir Stoev, National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, told Focus News Agency.

Two of four suspects in referee attack identified

Police said on Wednesday they have identified two of four men linked to an attack on international and national soccer referee Thanassis Tzilos last December in the central Greek city of Larissa.

According to reports, police will issue arrest warrants in the next few days for the two men - aged 28 and 46.

Serial supermarket robber nabbed

A 34-year-old woman believed to be behind at least 56 supermarket robberies in different parts of the greater Athens area was to face a prosecutor on Wednesday on multiple charges of theft.

The woman, who was arrested in Zefyri, northwestern Athens, is believed to have worked with two accomplices, who are being sought by police.
