Homophobia probe launched into retirement home
Supreme Court prosecutor Xeni Dimitriou on Wednesday ordered an investigation into a report in Iefimerida according to which a retirement home in Kalavryta removed a resident because he was homosexual.
Dimitriou asked a local prosecutor to determine whether the management or staff at the institution should be charged under a law cracking down on discrimination.
Greek bond yieldsdown to one-year low
Bond supply is expected from the periphery of the eurozone, with Greece considering a bond sale next month, its second since emerging from international bailout programs last August.
Greek 10-year government bond yields fell to new one-year lows on Wednesday and were down nearly three basis points at 3.70 percent later in the day.

Athens hotels see demand flag
The constant increase in Attica's hotel room supply combined with the drop-off in the soaring growth in demand and the market entry of thousands of apartments for short-term lets have already started to drive occupancy rates and room prices at the capital's hotels toward a decline.
The current prospects for both supply and demand are pointing to a further gap in the near future.
Ecumenical Patriarch to visit the US in July
Ecumenical Patriarch Vartholomeos will make an official visit to the United States in July, after an invitation by US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
During his visit, Varthomoleos will speak at a conference on the environment. His schedule and the agenda of his meetings will be announced in the coming months.
