Bulgaria as a Tourist Destination For Four Seasons

The International Conference for Sustainable Investment in Tourism in Sunny Beach is opened, reported NOVA TV. 

Bulgaria will participate in joint international initiatives to promote our country as a tourist destination for four seasons. This was said by the Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova at the resort of Sunny Beach.

Showers and storms forecast for election weekend

Rain clouds starting roling into Greece on Friday, putting a damper of plans by out-of-town voters to combine the ballot for local and regional government on Sunday with a weekend at the beach.

According to Greece's national weather service, storms are forecast in central parts of the country over the weekend, with downpours that are expected to be quite strong in the north.

More Grants for Fight Against Domestic Violence

Last year, The Ministry of Justice has allocated 360 000 leva for combating domestic violence. This was announced by Bulgaria's Minister of Justice Danail Kirilov from the parliamentary tribune. The money was received by 17 organisations.

Pope in Romania / Pope Francis welcomed to Cotroceni Palace with military honours

Pope Francis was welcomed at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace on Friday with full military honours by Romania's President Klaus Iohannis at a ceremony held on the Marinescu Plateau. Iohannis alongside his wife, Carmen, welcomed Pope Francis. The welcoming delegation comprised all presidential and state advisers.
