INTERVIEW/Ambassador Noble says point-based immigration system doesn't affect Romanians registered in settled scheme
The point-based immigration system to be applied in the UK does not affect Romanians and the rest of EU citizens who have registered for special status, in settled or pre-settled schemes, but those who want to live in the Kingdom next year, when the post-Brexit transition period expires, British Ambassador in Bucharest Andrew Noble told an interview with AGERPRES.
Eurozone ‘ready to act’ on coronavirus impact if needed, says Centeno
The coronavirus seems to be a "temporary shock" to the eurozone economy but the bloc's member states must be prepared to act in a coordinated way if the impact becomes a more long-lasting one, the chairman of eurozone finance ministers Mario Centeno said.
"It's the new risk and it's obviously a downside risk to our economies," Centeno told Reuters in an interview on Friday.
Başakşehir to face Copenhagen in Europa League last 16
Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir will take on Denmark's FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 stage, according to the draw at the union's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Feb. 28.
The first legs in this phase will be held on March 12 with second legs on March 19.

Bulgaria joined Greece on Friday in boosting border controls after Turkey said it would no longer prevent refugees from going to Europe.
"We sent police forces to our borders (with Turkey) early in the morning. It is worrying that the Turkish border guards have withdrawn," Prime Minister Boyko Borisov told journalists.
