Karaburun draws visitors for its underwater beauties

Karaburun has made a name for itself in recent years with its diving spots determined by the Culture and Tourism Ministry, adding to the plethora of natural beauties that its Aegean province İzmir has. It is again attracting great attention as Turkey began its normalization phase within the scope of combating the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19). 

Teacher depicts Turkish fables on water with marble painting art

A teacher from the southeastern province of Diyarbakır depicts fables of Anatolia with the Turkish art of marbling Ebru, posting her videos on YouTube as part of a joint project of the Education Ministry and UNESCO Turkey.

Caretta caretta nests detected on Patara beach

At least 116 nests have been detected on Patara Beach in the Kaş district of the southern province of Antalya, as the team tasked with protecting them started works on June 1.
The rate of nests detected last year had broken a record with 286 of them.

As Kosovo online reports, Zogjani's son Liridon pointed out in a post on his Facebook account that EULEX called his father this morning and from there sent him to The Hague without prior announcement or informing him and his family.
According to him, the Special Prosecutor's Office called his father because of the events during the war. 

Grenell and Vucic rescheduled the meeting

"In consultation with President Vucic, Grenell, after the cancellation of the Albanians, decided to postpone the meeting", the Cabinet of the President of Serbia told Tanjug.

Albanian Premier Condemns Thaci and Veseli War Crime Indictments

Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania, on Thursday condemned the Specialist Prosecutor's Office announcement that it was charging Kosovo's President Hashim Thaci, Kosovo politician Kadri Veseli and other former guerrilla fighters with war crimes, calling the decision "an attack [that goes] well beyond singular names".

Istanbul Municipality buys Ottoman sultan’s portrait 

A portrait of Ottoman Sultan Mehmed II, known as Fatih Sultan Mehmet, who led the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople, was sold at an auction in London on June 25. Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced on Twitter that the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality bought the painting. 

Serbia’s Telekom Bids for Kosovo’s Second Biggest Mobile Provider

Telekom Srbija has made the highest bid in the tender to buy the Kosovo mobile phone operator Ipko, offering 155 million euros, according to the Mayor of the Kosovo capital, Pristina, Shpend Ahmeti.

Telekom itself stressed that under a non-disclosure agreement, it is not allowed to disclose more detailed information until the tender is closed.

137 newly infected, one died

Thus, the total number of infected people increased to 13.372, and the number of dead was 264.
In the last 24 hours, 7.311 people were tested, and a total of 366.380.
There are currently 954 active cases, and there are 24 people on the respirator.
The mortality rate in Serbia is 1.97 percent.
