Britain traces cases linked to Greek flight
British authorities say 16 coronavirus cases have been linked to a flight that brought UK tourists back from Greece, and everyone aboard has been told to isolate themselves for two weeks.
Public Health Wales says it is contacting almost 200 people who were aboard the Tui flight from the Greek island of Zante to Cardiff, Wales, on Tuesday.
Romania's COVID-19 case count rises by 755 to 87,540
As many as 755 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in Romania from the previous report following tests performed nationwide, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force reported on Monday. These are cases that have not previously had a positive result, says GCS.
EU calls for dialogue with Turkey, end to tensions in east Mediterranean
The European Union's executive called on Monday for dialogue with Turkey and demanded that Ankara refrain from unilateral steps that stoke tensions in eastern Mediterranean.
Should dialogue not bear fruit, a spokesman for the European Commission told a briefing on Monday, the EU has already moved towards sanctions.
