Minister announces measures to make up for lost teaching hours
Education Minister Niki Kerameus on Wednesday vowed measures to make up for lost teaching hours in schools affected by student sit-ins.
Pupils have locked down hundreds of school grounds across the country, mostly over coronavirus measures.
Kerameus on Wednesday said classes would be held on school holidays, Saturdays and instead of field trips to compensate for lost time.
President Iohannis to attend European Council meeting in Brussels, Thursday and Friday
President Klaus Iohannis will attend a meeting of the European Council in Brussels on Thursday and Friday, which includes topics such as the European Union's Single Market, industrial policy and the Union's digital policy, according to a Presidential Administration release. European leaders will also address foreign policy issues, mainly the Union's relations with China and Turkey.
Training for Turkish, Syrian entrepreneur candidates to start in October
Turkish and Syrian entrepreneur candidates, residing in Turkey's capital Ankara, will soon have the chance to go under online training to boost their talents and enhance their business skills.
Training will be carried out as part of a project called "Enhancement of Entrepreneurship Capacities for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration" (ENHANCER).
