Vucic Says Serbia Will Produce Sputnik Vaccines by June

President Aleksandar Vucic on Thursday said Serbia will start producing its own Russian-designed Sputnik V vaccines in June. "Between June 5 and 10 we will have the first doses of the vaccine," he said after visiting the Torlak Institute in Belgrade, where production of the COVID vaccine started on Wednesday.

Pogačar wins first race of season

Abu Dhabi – Following his victory of Tour de France last year, Slovenian cyclist Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) started the new season off with a win. He completed the 7-stage UAE Tour, the first world series race this season, 35 seconds ahead of Adam Yates (Ineos Grenadiers) and 1:02 minutes ahead of Joao Almeida (Deceuninck-Quick-Step).

Wizz flights between Greece and Abu Dhabi resume

As of last Friday the new national carrier of the United Arab Emirates, Wizz Air, has resumed connections between Abu Dhabi and Greece.

The first flight connected Athens with Abu Dhabi, with Thessaloniki set to follow from February 4.

As of February 17, the airline will fly from Athens three times per week and from Thessaloniki twice weekly.
