7 ISIL terrorists caught ‘preparing to carry out suicide attacks’
Seven ISIL terrorists planning to carry out suicide attacks in metropolitan cities have been caught in simultaneous operations conducted in seven provinces.
The proceedings of the suspects caught in the operations held in the provinces of Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Mardin, Afyonkarahisar, Ankara, Bursa and Adana continue at the provincial gendarmerie commands.
Military vehicle accident kills 2 soldiers
A collision between a military vehicle and a truck in the Central Anatolian province of Konya has killed two soldiers and wounded two others.
A military van belonging to the Turkish Armed Forces collided with a truck from behind on the Konya-Adana road, where there was heavy fog, on early Jan. 4.

ISIL’s so-called ‘education centers’ busted in Ankara
Police have busted some houses that ISIL terrorists had converted into so-called "sharia education centers" in the capital Ankara within the scope of simultaneous operations and detained some 17 terrorists.
During the operations, the provincial counterterrorism team seized piles of digital materials and banned publications with propaganda content.
132 people arrested in anti-drug op in Adana
A total of 132 people were arrested in the southern province of Adana leg of the anti-drug operations announced by Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu on Oct. 4.
After nine months of technical and physical follow-up, the police launched simultaneous operations in Adana and the northern province of Samsun under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices.

PYD/YPG terrorist nabbed in Istanbul Airport
A terrorist of PYD/YPG, PKK's Syrian offshoot, who came to Türkiye after receiving training in PKK's camps in Syria and Iraq has been caught in an operation at Istanbul Airport.
Being wanted for a while, A.Ö. passed through two checkpoints at Istanbul Airport by being searched. However, after she gave a fingerprint sample, her identity was revealed and she was detained by the police.

Man sells 400 Adana kebabs a day in US restaurant
A Turkish man has said he is selling some 400 Adana kebabs a day in his Miami restaurant, which has entered the Michelin Guide in its first year.
"Our restaurant, Doya, was opened a year ago, and we succeeded to enter the Michelin list with Turkish food," Erhan Köspeten said.

Beloved Turkish actor Cüneyt Arkın dies
Famous Turkish actor Cüneyt Arkın has died at the age of 85 from a cardiac arrest on June 28.
After he fell ill last night, he was taken and treated at a private hospital in the Ulus neighborhood in the Beşiktaş district of Istanbul.
His wife Betül Cüreklibatır and his family and friends visited him.
