Spain axes 'golden visa' to curb property speculation
Spain is to axe its so-called "golden visa" scheme under which foreign investors get residency for a 500,000-euro-investment in property, to curb the speculation blighting many Spanish cities, Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said.

Greece unveils trademark for Macedonian products
Greece has unveiled a new trademark for Macedonian products in a bid to ease the commercial ramifications of the Prespes name deal signed between Athens and Skopje in 2018.
The motto of the blue-and-white logo is "The GReat Land."

Record Storms in Spain - Deaths Have Been Reported
Two people have died in floods caused by heavy rainfall in southeastern Spain, BTA reported.
"The death of two people has been confirmed," the emergency services of the Castile-La Mancha Autonomous Region said on Twitter. The car of the two victims was taken by the stranded waters of the village of Caudete. The dead man was 61 years old and his sister 51 years old.

(CNN) - Tens of thousands of protesters returned to the streets of Pamplona in Spain on Saturday after men accused of the gang rape of an 18-year-old woman at the 2016 running of the bulls festival were convicted of the lesser crime of sexual abuse.
Bulgaria Air Adds Weekly Flights to Lisbon, Alicante from Sofia
Sofia Airport has started offering two new seasonal destinations: to Lisbon, Portugal and Alicante, Spain.
Both routes to the Iberian Peninsula are operated by national carrier Bulgaria Air, the airport says on its website.
The route to the Portuguese capital city, served since April 28, will be operated once a week,on Thursday.
Sofia Airport Records 8.3 % Increase in Number of Passengers in July
The airport of the Bulgarian capital recorded a 8.3 % increase in the number of passengers in July compared to the same month in 2014.
A total of 393 312 passengers were serviced in July, with 67 % of them going through Terminal 2, while the remaining 33 % passed through Terminal 1, which services the low-cost airlines.
