Cologne – A total of 17 Slovenian companies are participating in this year’s Anuga food and beverage trade show in Cologne, Germany, which kicks off today, announced the investment agency Spirit Slovenija.
Never released Lennon recording sells at auction
A cassette tape recording of an interview with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, including a never-released song, made while they visited Denmark in 1970 sold for 370,000 Danish crowns ($58,300) at an auction in Copenhagen on Sept. 28.

Turkey’s Getir launches in Spain’s Madrid, Barcelona
Turkey's on-demand delivery pioneer Getir announced on Sept. 15 it has launched in the Spanish cities of Madrid and Barcelona.
In a statement, Getir said the move comes after acquiring BLOK, a similar rapid delivery service from Spain.
Istanbul named among world’s best cities in 2021
A U.K.-based culture magazine has picked the world's best 37 cities, ranking Turkey's largest metropolis Istanbul in the list.
Out of the 37 ranked cities chosen by the Time Out magazine, San Francisco made it to the top of the list and was followed by Amsterdam and Manchester, while Istanbul was listed 36th.
Copenhagen, New York and Montreal were also at the top of the list.

WHO: Mu Strain of Coronavirus Stirs Concerns
The European Medicines Agency said Thursday a coronavirus variant known as "Mu" could be cause for concern, although there is no data yet to show it will overtake the dominant Delta strain, AFP reported. Mu, which was first identified in Colombia in January and is known scientifically as B.1.621, was classified earlier this month as a "variant of interest" by the WHO.

Netherlands whip 10-man Turkey 6-1 in World Cup qualifiers
The Netherlands tore apart Turkey 6-1 in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying match on Sept. 7, moving to the top of Group G.

Turkey set for tough test in Netherlands
Turkey will take on the Netherlands in an away game in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, hoping to put its campaign back on track.
After a perfect start to its Group G campaign, beating the Netherlands 4-2 in its opening game followed by a 3-0 victory at Norway, Turkey was held to draws at home by Latvia in March and Montenegro last week.
