Turkey "to return debt to Aleppo," but denies invasion plans
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has said his country will "return a historical debt to Aleppo brothers” who helped defend it in the early 20th century.
RT is reporting that this statement came "just days after Russia warned of Ankara’s intentions to invade Syria as the rebels there falter."

Distress in Ankara is growing as more support is declared by Turkey's major ally, the United States, for the Syrian Kurdish group the Democratic Union Party (PYD). The Turkish government considers the PYD to be an extension of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which is officially designated a terrorist group by both the U.S. and the EU.
